For divorce and legal separation cases which involve custody/parental responsibility or visitation/parenting time disputes, the retainer fee is normally a minimum of $3,500.00, plus the $224.00 court filing fee. This retainer fee does not include required deposits or retainers for child custody evaluations and/or for a Child and Family Investigator or Child Legal Representative (an attorney appointed to represent thechildren in a divorce) fees.

For all divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations/family law matters, Don normally bills his time at $250.00 per hour, although it may be more for unusually complex or high-conflict cases.

When selecting an attorney for your legal matter and representation, cost should certainly be a factor in your consideration.
